COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Over the years Bill has organized and contributed to several Calgary
Food Bank drives. He has also provided a major donation to The Mustard
Seed Foundation for their Transitional Housing Program. As an REALTOR® with
RE/MAX, Bill is part of a major fund raising sponsorship for the
Children´s Hospital Miracle Network. A portion of his commissions from
each transaction are contributed to this worthy cause.
The real estate business has been very good to Bill,
in gratitude, he finds many ways to continually give back to the
spectacular community of Scenic Acres in which he lives. Some highlights
of his community involvement include:
- Federation of Calgary Community 2008 Award for 15+ Years of Contribution
- Donation of uniforms for soccer teams
- Donation of first aid kits to soccer teams
- Donation of sign boards and sponsorship of Block Watch newsletter
- Providing pony rides and petting zoo at various soccer & community functions
- Serving on Scenic Acres Community Association in various positions throughout the years
- Managing and Organizing seven very successful fund raising community charitable casinos
